Talk about an unholy union! This 1957 VW Bug is running a turbocharged 2.0L Subaru engine with Porsche 911 brakes and Porsche 944 suspension at a GoodGuys muscle car autocross. The air intake is fabbed out of off-the-shelf Spectre parts including a hpR filter from the local auto parts store. Watch the video to see the little bug in action.

That’s flat camo green. At one drag event they were calling it chia pet. The owner intentionally selected paint that he wouldn’t worry about getting scuffed. It is a ton of fun to ride in.
