Spectre Performance offers a late model air intake system for 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche or GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, and even a Cadillac Escalade with a V8. The Spectre Performance 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Full-Size GM SUV late model intake system is available with four performance air filter color choices. Air intake 9900 features a red-media air filter, 9900B includes a blue-media air filter, 9900K uses a completely black air filter, and 9900W comes equipped with a white performance air filter media.

Color choices for these Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac late model air intake systems come in the form of Spectre High Performance Racing (HPR) universal cone air filters. The HPR air filters used in these kits are designed for high airflow while still providing engine protection. A Spectre HPR performance air filter is manufactured using high quality materials throughout including a pre-dyed synthetic filter media that will not fade, top quality urethane, and steel mesh. Spectre High Performance Racing air filters are pre-oiled and ready to use. These air filters can be serviced when dirty, using part number 884820, and used again.

All four Spectre Performance late model air intake system part numbers for 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche or GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, and even a Cadillac Escalade with a V8 are designed to add horsepower and torque without compromising engine protection from harmful debris. These air intake systems use a high quality polished aluminum intake tube to direct air into the engine. They also include a heat shield, finished in a textured black powdercoat, to help reduce the amount of hot air entering the performance air filter. These intakes include all necessary components and can be installed using basic hand tools for a bolt on performance upgrade.

Due to the shared engineering across the General Motors Company, the Spectre Performance late model air intake, numbers 9900, 9900B, 9900K and 9900W, will replace the stock air filter box and air intake tubes of a large number of Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac V8 models from 1999-2007.
