The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a rugged retro styled SUV inspired by classic Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser models sold from 1960-1984. During development of the modern FJ Cruiser Toyota sourced many parts from existing models including suspension components used in the Prado, Hilux, Tacoma, and 4Runner.
