Hardware
If you are looking for a way to mount your air cleaner, look no further than Spectre’s hardware and adapter options. We offer carburetor adapters, air cleaner bases, breather tube fittings, shrouds, nuts, bolts, and studs. We also offer both the single stud and dual stud GM air cleaner lid, in chrome.
Available Products
Adapters and Risers
Spectre’s air cleaner risers and adapters are designed to help make your air cleaner fit correctly. Our adapters are designed to fit carburetors with either a 3-1/16 inch or 2-5/8 inch neck and will give your carburetor a standard 5-1/8 inch neck flange that our air cleaners are designed to fit on. Our raisers are designed to work with carburetors with 5-1/8 inch diameter necks, can be stacked for multiple height configurations and come with a 1/2 inch, 1 inch and 1-1/2 inch height.
Bases
Spectre offers three styles of 14 inch round air cleaner bases. We offer a standard flat base and offset base designed to fit on carburetors with a 5-1/8 inch neck flange, as well as a flat Dominator base designed to fit on carburetors with a 7-5/16 inch neck flange.
Breather Tube Fitting
Spectre’s 4960 air cleaner breather tube fitting is designed to attach to your air cleaner base and allow you to vent back into your air cleaner and provides a filtered air source using the engine air filter. This product is legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a highway. See spectreperformance.com for CARB status on each part for a specific vehicle.
GM Replacement Air Cleaner Lids
Spectre offers a custom looking heavy gauge chrome plated replacement lid for your single or dual stud Chevy/GM air cleaner. Our dual stud replacement lid is designed to fit the dual stud 15-1/2 inch air cleaner assembly on 1993 and later Chevy/GMC small block V8 pickups. Our single stud replacement lid is designed to fit the single stud 15-1/2 inch air cleaner assembly on 1988-1992 Camaros, Corvettes, and Chevy/GMC small block V8 pickups with a single stud lid.

Studs/Bolts
The air cleaner nut and stud keeps the air cleaner lid and air filter attached to the top of the engine. Spectre offers multiple styles of air cleaner center studs that not only perform well, but look great too. Spectre offers standard stud and wing nut combinations, tapered bolts and both the Dodge and GM "S" studs.
